The evergreen Pakistani singer

The great and evergreen Pakistani singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was born 13 October 1948.He starts his career as Qawwali. His voice was extraordinary quality and has ability to perform many hours without any break. He introduced the Qawwali tradition in all over the world. He is known as “shahinshah of Qawwali”. He starts his career at 16 years of his age.
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan starts his career after his father's death and become the official head of the family Qawwali party. His first performance was at jashn-e-baharan festival of Punjab, which is organized by Radio Pakistan and sings the major hit song Haq Ali Ali. After that he becomes popular day by day. He performed in London, japan, Paris, and many more as an Asian traditional style. His romantic old songs and get a big response from people. He sung the songs in Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. His famous Qawwali “Dam Mast Qallander Ali Ali” is still alive in people's hearts; not only this song but his every song is evergreen song.
Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has also worked in Bollywood and sung many songs for Indian movies. His famous Indian movie songs are “Dulhe ka Sehra”, “Saya b sath Chor Jaye”. He has also sung sad songs, romantic songs, Qawwali and Ghazal. His top songs are “Tumhen Dil Lagi” and “Phiron Dhonta Makada Toba Toba”.

He was died on 11 August 1997 by kidney and liver failure. He left the world, but not left the place in people's hearts and he will live on over heart for a long time. He won many awards and a special award is President of Pakistan’s Award for the pride of performance.
