The India is
a big country and many languages are spoken. That’s why the Indian film
industry produced lots of movies in different languages, but the popularity of
Hindi movies is top in the rankings, the main reason of Hindi movie's popularity is
that the Hindi is the national language of India. The largest film industry in India is
Bollywood, so The Hindi movies become so popular when the term “Bollywood” was
used. The Bollywood industry has a great number of fans and people.
The
Bollywood film industry is classified into three main durations.
The first
duration starts from 1940. This duration is also called Golden age of Indian
cinema and its end in 1960. People were like to go cinema for watching movies,
and listing Indian songs. The stars of this duration are Dilip Kumar,
Nirgis, Madhubala and many more. The movie contains romance and melodramatic
theme.
The second
duration is 1960 to 1990. This generation contains romantic and action films. .
Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rekha and many more are well known actors of
these generations. Indian old songs of this era were great lyrics and
remain popular in this modern era.
The 3rd
duration of the Bollywood is 1990 to till now. This is advanced duration and
gets huge popularity. . Actors of this recent season are Aamir Khan, Salman
Khan, Sharukh khan, Ashwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif etc. The great films of this
period are Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dhoom 2, 3 Idiots, Dive Das and many
more.
The
Bollywood changes the criteria and theme during all the duration on the basis of
people demand.
